A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Amanda, the creator behind The Bewitched Teacher. I design printable educational resources for teachers, homeschool families, tutors, and anyone who loves helping children discover the joy of learning. I've always loved the process of creating educational materials—taking an idea, asking, "How can I make this more engaging?", and transforming it into something that encourages curiosity and meaningful learning. Whether I'm designing a picture book companion for early elementary students or developing an inquiry-based history unit for older learners, my goal is always the same: to create resources that are thoughtful, creative, and enjoyable to use.
I believe that learning should go beyond memorizing facts or filling out worksheets. The most memorable lessons invite students to investigate, discuss, imagine, solve problems, and make connections to the world around them. That philosophy guides every resource you'll find here.

More Than Printable Pages
There are countless educational printables available today. When I create a resource, I try to think beyond simply practicing a skill. I ask myself questions like:
- How can students become active participants instead of passive learners?
- How can this lesson encourage curiosity?
- What would make this activity memorable?
- How can I inspire meaningful conversations and deeper thinking?
Sometimes that means adding a creative extension. Sometimes it's including an investigation, a writing prompt, or a hands-on activity. Other times it's simply asking better questions. If one of my resources helps a child pause and say, "Wait...that's really interesting!" then I know I've accomplished what I set out to do.
