Cover Story is a low-prep creative writing resource that uses magazine cover art as a visual springboard for original student writing. Instead of simply describing what they see, students are challenged to imagine the story, character, secret, or moment hiding behind the image.

A quick 60-second First Look gets students observing before they write, while four different writing lenses give them multiple ways to approach each cover.
