Fireworks Roll & Remove | 4th of July-Themed Addition Game

Add some cheer to your math block with this 4th of July Firework Roll & Remove Game—a hands-on, high-engagement activity that strengthens early addition skills using dice, number recognition, and playful game strategy!

Students line up fireworks beneath numbered firecrackers cards. They then take turns rolling two dice, adding the dots, and finding the firecracker with the matching sum. When they find the correct number, they remove one firework from under that firecracker.

Play continues until all fireworks have been removed!

Students LOVE resetting the fireworks and playing again, making this an ideal open-ended math center for Summer.
