Worry Worms SEL Activity | Anxiety & Feelings Coping Craft | SEL Printable
Help students identify, process, and release worries in a hands-on, meaningful way with this engaging Worry Worms SEL activity. Students write or draw their worries on individual worm templates, color them, and place them into a small envelope for safekeeping until they feel ready to talk about or let go of those feelings.
This resource supports emotional awareness by giving children a safe and creative way to recognize fears, anxieties, and everyday concerns. Once they are ready, students can take a worry worm from the envelope, discuss it, and throw it away as a symbolic way of releasing that worry.
Perfect for classroom community building, school counseling, calm-down corners, morning meetings, SEL lessons, or small group support.
This resource includes:
- Worry Worm printable templates
- Student directions/introduction page
- Small envelope activity component
- Coloring and writing activity
- SEL reflection opportunity
