Add some cheer to your math block with this Peanut Butter Jelly Time! Roll & Remove Game—a hands-on, high-engagement activity that strengthens early addition skills using dice, number recognition, and playful game strategy!

Students line up the PB&J ingredients beneath numbered PB&J sandwich cards. They then take turns rolling two dice, adding the dots, and finding the PB&J sandwich with the matching sum. When they find the correct number, they remove one PB&J ingredient from under that PB&J sandwich.

Play continues until all PB&J ingredients have been removed! Students LOVE resetting the PB&J ingredients and playing again, making this an ideal open-ended math center.
