Add some cheer to your math block with this 4th of July Popsicle & Sunglasses Roll & Remove Game—a hands-on, high-engagement activity that strengthens early addition skills using dice, number recognition, and playful game strategy!

Students line up sunglasses & flip-flops beneath numbered popsicles cards. They then take turns rolling two dice, adding the dots, and finding the popsicle with the matching sum. When they find the correct number, they remove one sunglasses & flip-flops from under that popsicle.

Play continues until all sunglasses & flip-flops have been removed! Students LOVE resetting the sunglasses & flip-flops and playing again, making this an ideal open-ended math center for summer.
