Shark Roll & Remove | Beach-Themed Addition Game

Add some cheer to your math block with this Shark Roll & Remove Game—a hands-on, high-engagement activity that strengthens early addition skills using dice, number recognition, and playful game strategy!

Students line up the surfboards beneath numbered sharks cards. They then take turns rolling two dice, adding the dots, and finding the shark with the matching sum. When they find the correct number, they remove one surfboard from under that shark.

Play continues until all surfboards have been removed! Students LOVE resetting the surfboards and playing again, making this an ideal open-ended math center.
